Vanity Crash's blend of original riff rock ruckus
influenced by David Bowie, T-Rex, New York Dolls, and Aerosmith can be
seen live Friday, April 6th at Excuses in Pittsburgh's South Side. They
will be debuting new songs from their upcoming double CD.
Vanity Crash’s founding members planted the band’s glittery seeds while
portraying slammin’ glam punks “The Angry Inch” in Cleveland Public
Theater’s production of the rock musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch.
They now are bringing that theater aspect to their new CD and will
perform some tracks live for the first time.
Don't miss... Friday, April 6th (9PM) at Excuses in Pittsburgh, PA.

What are we doing with our pretty selves lately you ask? Well, we are working on what looks to be a splendid new concept CD and a live show built around it. Be patient with us as we labor over this for a stretch. In the meantime, we are planning on debuting 6 of the songs in an early developmental state at an upcoming show in a few months. Until then... well, the debut CD is still for sale in all its glamorous glory.
On a side note, Brian Hager is training for what he hopes to be his first go at the Cleveland Rite-Aid Marathon in May. He is still deciding if he will don the feather boa during the excursion.

Concept Album - Vanity Crash will begin rehearsing new material in January for an
upcoming concept album to be released in 2006. The focus is to
fill a CD with the most entertaining music possible linked by a common
theme. The disc may contain many surprises including songs of various
lengths with a throw back approach to the early days of glam.
"You won't have to wait 2 years for our next CD," Dan Folino recently
told Cleveland's Free Times in an interview with Anastasia Pantsios.

Debut CD is Here - Vanity Crash's debut CD has been released on Grid Records and can be purchased at this web site. October 8th's CD release party was a huge success for us. Thanks to all
of you who came out. It was great to see so many show their support.
Vanity Crash will mount a spectacular night of glam and rock, Thursday,
June 30 at the HiFi Club. We will be welcoming back on
drums, the wild and unpredictable Jason Giaco. Returning to the
HiFi and having Jason back, has made us so wired that we can't stop
trying on our clothes and boas in front of the mirror in anticipation.
Come enjoy this fabulous night with us!
